HELLO & WELCOME to The Teatime Design Shop, M'Lords & M'Ladies

My name is Caryn & I'm the owner of The Teatime Design Shop! I design and sell specialty Tshirts and apparel for everyday wear. My niche is mainly related to historical fashion & period dramas but you will also see designs for literature, travel, London, Christianity, mental health, and of course tea.

I am originally from Pennsylvania but ended up in Louisiana in 1997. I have a BA from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and an MA from Louisiana Tech University. Due to a diagnosis of Bipolar disorder and the support of my wonderful loving husband I had the chance to redirect my skills and abilities and I started a small business. I share this with my customers because I would not want anyone else to feel like they are not capable. Do not ever give up because it is so true; YOUR STORY IS NOT OVER.

I originally named my shop The English Cottage because when I was in college I became obsessed with English history. I recently renamed my shop The Teatime Design Shop; because my best design ideas come to me at tea time. 

I have been a vendor at various local markets but now my business is mainly internet sales.  Currently my shop consists mostly of my originally designed tees and hoodies. Due to family obligations and space I have had to utilize a print partner for SOME of my designs; meaning I design, and my print partner adds my design and ships the product. That being said, I have a brand new heat press and I love making tshirts so I am still working from my home.

If you see a design you like but would prefer a different style I can make that happen. I have a huge stock of tshirts but I do special order twice a month. This might cause a slight delay but it gives my customers more color options. If you're in a rush message me before you order and I will let you know what I have in stock.

I’ve had many customers tell me they wore my tees to Six (The Musical), book signings, Medieval festivals, group vacations, guided tours, and other fun events. This can be you!
